Temperament: Very peaceful
Diet & Nutrition: Bottom feeder, they will scavenge around the tank looking for scraps. Supplement their diet with Algae Wafers that sink to the bottom of the tank.
Breeding & Spawning: Female will clean a spot on the aquarium glass, or an object in the aquarium to lay her eggs on. Eggs should hatch in 4-6 days after spawning. Do note that these fish will eat their own fry, so they will need to be separated from the parents.
Gender: Females are larger and rounder than the males of the same age.
